Taser M16

Nowadays, there are many people who became prisoners in their own homes because of rising lawlessness in their area. There are those who bravely venture out, but became victims themselves of robberies, assaults, and rape. Most violent crimes happen because the assailant was able to come within inches of the victim or saw the frightened look in that person’s eyes. The few brave ones though refused to cower in fear, so they instead bought stun gun and tasers to protect themselves.

These specially-made stun guns are used by police officers, security guards, and some people to protect themselves. First of all, the regular stun gun can immobilize an assailant who is inches away and has proven to be one of the most effective non-lethal weapons in the market. Most people prefer the stun gun because it is easy to carry and very efficient. Moreover, the amperage (a kind of current or electrical energy) that this device carries is between five to eight milliamps – enough to disable an assailant if he dares comes close.

The stun gun has had many detractors through the years, but to many people it is the best emergency weapon they can use. That reason is that if the mugger is inches away, the person with the stun gun can easily shove the device to the assailant’s groin, neck, or abdomen and the ensuing electric shock will temporarily incapacitate him. Even if the fiend’s hand firmly grasps a would-be victim’s arms, the stun gun will force the former to let go. Stun guns will only be effective and able to serve their purpose if these devices are able to stun an attacker or attackers.

On the other hand, tasers are preferred by people who do not want other strangers coming near them. Unlike the regular stun gun that is only effective upon close contact with a robber, this device will shoot two small wires that can reach up to fifteen feet and jolt an attacker’s muscles until he is disabled. The great thing about tasers is that they were designed to daze any assaulter for a few seconds. At the very least, the person who bore the brunt of the device will experience temporary amnesia and an itching sensation eventually. At the most, the attacker’s muscles will contract and he may even feel that he has vertigo.

To conclude, stun gun and tasers should only be used in emergencies. These devices should be aimed primarily at an assailant’s back or chest because any contact with the eyes can seriously damage the corneas.

Spy Gear and Equipment

There are many kinds of spy gear on the market that can be used in a variety of ways. If a business owner wants to check if his or her employees are doing their tasks, he or she can purchase hidden camera systems that can be installed in the store. Homeowners may also buy this sophisticated equipment to monitor their children and the behavior of the nannies. Borescopes on the other hand can help a person secretly appraise any circumstances.  Incidentally, women are very vulnerable to stalkers who bug their phones, install hidden cameras, and use gadgets to invade their personal lives. There has been an alarming increase of violent crimes in the United States for the last thirty years. Crimes like rape, murder, rapes, and muggings dominate the headlines and many people are afraid to venture out in the streets. Since it is increasingly risky to go out in the street, many citizens have opted to buy personal security devices to protect themselves from petty thieves and hardened criminals. Gone are the days that people would take for granted their own safety, so many have decided that they will not allow themselves to become crime statistics. Many saw the risk of paying astronomical bills due to muggings is that great, so they made a wise choice in investing on affordable self-defense products.
For those who value their safety, there are a variety of personal security devices that they can avail. Among them are non-lethal personal defense sprays, personal alarms, and stun guns. The good thing about this weapon is that doctors found no evidence that this could injure a person. People who purchased this though should be very alert because a stun gun can only be used if an assailant is a few inches away and ready to pull-off a robbery. Lastly, it would be best that would-be victims run quickly as possible because the effects of the stun gun are temporary and may agitate the attacker more

Pepper Spray

Presently, people live in fear of their lives. In many parts of the United States, the streets are literally dangerous because they are filled with robbers, drunkards, gangsters, and rapists. These evil-doers would often prey on people who seem weak and afraid, much less protect themselves. To deter these criminals, there are those who armed themselves with high-powered firearms, but got into trouble with the law themselves. It is a good thing though that there are those who tried other alternatives, like buying pepper spray instead. There are several of these hand-held containers sold in the market.
A specific type of this non-lethal weapon is Wildfire pepper spray that has three-million scoville heat units, and it has one of the best unadulterated capsicum components that are packed in containers. Assailants who think they can throw their weight around will soon discover that this particular non-lethal weapon is very nasty because the spray will irritate the mucous membranes that will paralyze their breathing. Moreover, they may feel that they may choke on their own vomit, have coughing fits, and experience fleeting blindness. For good measure, a person who was attacked may fire a second dose of the inflammatory agent to immobilize further his assailant for forty-five more minutes, so he or she has time to get away.
Law enforcers likewise carry these particular weapons to arrest criminals on the street. When they use the sprays, the effects are the same although the chemical wears of quickly. The reason for this is that the police officers want their quarry to be easily controlled, so they can quickly haul him or her off to jail. Capsaicin is the usual component of pepper sprays and this chemical is found in several chili plants.
